black + blum is an Anglo-Swiss partnership who joined forces in 1998 and based themselves in London, the European heart of design. As a design consultancy they advise companies on any creative aspect. This accumulating insight into different markets catalysed the decision to develop their own range of products. It has since become a vehicle for which they fully explore and enjoy their creativity.
Their philosophy is that ‘designed’ products can be made affordable without compromising their quality. Their aim is to create innovative products that will charm and entertain.
Their studio is in the Oxo Tower, which is situated on the south bank of Thames. They are near some of London’s most famous landmarks such as the London Eye and the Tate Modern. The nearest underground stations are either waterloo or Blackfriars.

In the same way that slow food raises awareness of the food we eat and how these choices affect our lives, Slow Home empowers you to take more control of your home and improve the quality of how you live while reducing your environmental impact and futureproofing the long term investment value of your home.
