The firms Los Angeles and Santa Barbara offices are currently staffed by forty individuals trained in the fields of architecture, planning and interior design, including fifteen licensed architects, and ten members of the American Institute of Architects.

DesignARC has received over thirty design awards for Excellence in Architecture for work including numerous restaurant and hospitality projects in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, as well as numerous multi-family residential projects in Palm Springs, California.

DesignARC strives to deliver the highest standards of architectural service to our clients. Our commitment is to solve architectural problems creatively and effectively, in response to our client’s constraints. We seek to assemble each project team with the architects, consultants and specialists who are the best suited, and most experienced for the project. Client satisfaction is DesignARC’s most important goal, and the commitment of each member of our firm.

DesignARC’s highly collaborative approach to projects is the core of this commitment: Our belief is that the most successful projects celebrate the goals and ambitions of the client, rather than the signature of the architect. Essential to this approach is an inherent ability to establish a close working relationship - a partnership - with the client to develop goals, program parameters, building solutions and management strategies within a framework which assigns the highest priority to communication and the collaborative process.

We believe that our homes and neighborhoods should be healthy, vibrant places that uplift the spirit and gracefully fit our needs. We call for an end to poor construction, bad design, misleading marketing, unfair lending practices and environmental neglect in the housing industry. We acknowledge our collective responsibility to create CLOSE, SIMPLE, LIGHT places to live that leave a positive legacy for future generations.

provides design focused information that homeowners can use to improve the quality of how and where they live. It takes its name from the slow food movement which arose as a reaction to the processed food industry. The sprawl of cookie cutter housing that surrounds us is like fast food - standardized, homogenous, and wasteful. It contributes to a too fast life that is bad for us, our cities, and the environment. In the same way that slow food raises awareness of the food we eat and how these choices affect our lives, Slow Home empowers you to take more control of your home and improve the quality of how you live while reducing your environmental impact and futureproofing the long term investment value of your home.
