The staff at Glama-Kim Architects are highly skilled and experienced, qualified to work on a variety of design projects. The office prides itself in the quality of the architecture it has produced and has participated successfully in numerous competitions.
Glama-Kim Architects was established following the merger of Glama architects and Kim Architects in 1996. Both offices had been run separately. Glama Architects were established in 1991. Arni Kjartansson (co-founder of Kim Architects) had been running a private practice since 1986.
A successful design and project solution is achieved through extensive and thorough design methods that have developed from an extensive experience of all owners and their staff. The design methods and the development of each project is defined at the beginning stage of the design work. The strategy is regularly revised during design execution.
